We believe that there is music in all children and with constant nurturing and performance experiences they may become future musicians serving Jesus Christ in song at Peoples Congregational Church. We affirm that our objectives are: (1) To encourage appreciation for one's own singing voice. (2) To develop music reading skills. (3) To develop vocal part independence. (4) To develop a love and an appreciation for a variety of quality sacred music. (5) To develop vocal blend and tonal quality.

We provide music for Communion Service on the Second Sunday at 8:30 AM and at other times as requested by the Senior Minister.

The Jazz Vespers Committee coordinates the Jazz Vespers worship services. The Jazz Vespers were designed to offer a different style of worship for members of the Church and the community. This form of music expression has introduced many to our Church, it is a mode of praise and thanksgiving in which people may praise God. The Jazz Vespers are held at 6:00pm on the Saturdays that precede fifth Sundays.

To provide artistic and cultural programs within the Church and community, especially lending support to cultural activities in the area of music and visual arts. To provide support for the Music Ministry of Peoples Church and assistance to the Chancel Choir. To assist the minister in efforts to bring quality artistic expression to the Church Community.

The Youth Choir, directed by Ms. Gwen Jenifer, is committed to the development of youth voices age 12-19. To minister to the Church School at seasonal times and to the congregation on the first Sunday at the 8:30 AM Service and at selected 11:00 AM services and special programs. The choir will praise and worship through choral experiences.

The Voices of Peoples is a diverse group of singers with a focus on enhancing the worship experience for the entire church community through gospel music. Directed by Grammy Award-nominated Reverend e'Marcus Harper, this choir takes a "learn by rote" approach to music that speaks to and from the soul and experience of the believer, expresses faith and love towards the Creator and the Creator's love/healing and care for all humanity. The choir welcomes the experienced and non-experienced alike. The choir provides music for worship the last Sunday of each month at 8:30 and 11:00 AM services and for other occasions.
