Girl Scouting is a movement that gives girls from all segments of American life a chance to develop their potential, to make friends, develop leadership, problem-solving, and decision making skills, and to become a vital part of their community. Based on ethical values, it opens up a world of opportunities for girls, all while working in partnership with adult volunteers. Its sole focus is to meet the needs of girls.

Girl Scouts is where girls grow strong. Girls learn skills, citizenship, and Christian values. Girls camp, ski, participate in overnight trips, and earn badges. They also participate in activities with other Girl Scout Troops.

We believe that there is music in all children and with constant nurturing and performance experiences they may become future musicians serving Jesus Christ in song at Peoples Congregational Church. We affirm that our objectives are: (1) To encourage appreciation for one's own singing voice. (2) To develop music reading skills. (3) To develop vocal part independence. (4) To develop a love and an appreciation for a variety of quality sacred music. (5) To develop vocal blend and tonal quality.

The Youth Choir, directed by Ms. Gwen Jenifer, is committed to the development of youth voices age 12-19. To minister to the Church School at seasonal times and to the congregation on the first Sunday at the 8:30 AM Service and at selected 11:00 AM services and special programs. The choir will praise and worship through choral experiences.

A Saturday youth enrichment program for youths in the fourth, fifth and sixth grades. Our mission is to provide a positive and nurturing environment where youth can discover themselves, their community, and the world through a wide exposure to enriching activities and experiences.
