The purpose is to promote good fellowship and engender brotherly and sisterly love spiritually, socially, and otherwise in a Christian atmosphere. Activities include trips to the theatre and sponsoring of concerts, and programs for the fellowship of church and community. When needed, we cooperate with financial programs of the church.

To present Christian drama productions.

To welcome in a friendly and cheerful manner visitors and worshippers. To promote unity and togetherness in the church.

The objective of the group has been to study, select, and purchase stocks using NAIC guidelines. We have established a portfolio of securities, and we use online investing.

To provide the "Upper Room" Periodical to church members and the community; to provide and assist with stimulating fellowship within the church family; to sponsor the annual Christmas Bazaar; to make annual donations to the church mortgage reduction fund.

Celebrate those born during Jan/Feb/March through Christian Fellowship. Support programs and ministries of the Church financially through time and talent. Sponsor benefit fundraisers with current focus on exploring African American experience and presence through cultural tours on the east coast.

To provide support for the Music Ministry of Peoples Church and assistance to the Chancel Choir. To assist the minister in efforts to bring quality artistic expression to the Church Community.

A gathering of golfers who play weekly at many group courses. Our golf courses are assigned inside and outside the Metropolitan Beltway. We will help your game somewhat, but understand you must bring some golfing ability with you. Friendship and enthusiasm abound.

To provide an organization with Christian values whereby adults can get together in a social atmosphere for fellowship and activities of enjoyment aimed at furtherance of the goals and objectives of Peoples Congregational United Church of Christ. Profit making activities and programs are dedicated to the enhancement of the church. Each year the Circle sponsors a Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper and a Fall Frolic dinner dance. Members of the Circle are not required to be members of Peoples Church.
